When we purchased the rice from rice festival of grahak peth, we got one pass for "Black and White Part 2" program and Chitra mavshi gave her 1 pass.
So me and Juilee went to the program on saturday. It was my "Falahar" day and I was only on fruits, so my head was paining a lot. Also because of Election programs, this program started late around 7:30.
It was like Karaoke. Rahul Solapurkar was doing the Nivedan. And singers like Dhaval Chandawadkar, etc, were singing the songs. The program was divided as per the decades, 70's, 80s, 90's, 2000's and 2010's.
We watched it till 80's and then because I felt much hungry, we left the program in between at 8:15.
It was not much entertaining for me, because there was no real music band.

The natak is ok. Its all about how people behave at home as husband, wife and there parents. There is no big story. Ashok Saraf is as usual great. Jayant Savarkar still has the energy.

We enjoyed at Prashant's home - Shree chi misal, Janaseva chi sabu khichadi ani batatawada.

At 2:30 we left his home, and went to Abhiruchi mall. It is exactly like Wallmart. We first booked the tickets and then wandered for some time in the mall.
The movie starts with a future scene, and then the entire story explains how that scene comes. This idea is not common in the movies.
I did not like the direction much. Some times, the movie loses the track.
After the movie, we again did shopping of only 2 bottles of mango juice from the mall. I was feeling to much impatient because of the crowd. Then we went to Vidya Mavshi's home to pick Aai.

We had lunch very early, and went to the natyagruha. This was the first show in Pune. There was Sanai-Chowghada playing live. As we entered the natyagruha, a girl welcomed us with a rose flower and calenders.
The natak was good. Joke jara balbodh vatle.... Jatra - Golmaal picture chya joke chi savay zalyamule!

In the interval, Sunil Barve spoke for couple of minutes about "Herberium" - juni natka parat navin sanchat ananyacha prayog.... 5 natak were done like this. This was the 5th and last one.
He also announced lucky draw... 11 vi row 13 number chi khurchi .. because it was 13/11 :-)
Tin anki prayog hota... in the interval we enjoyed batatawada.
The natak is about a fantasy - a person gets hypnotized and starts behaving differently at home. Bhaat Jadhav my favorite!

Fire-Wire show was arranged by Ranka Jewellers at Deccan.
We started from home at 6:30 PM. But, there were no rikshas. We somehow managed to walk till Anandnagar and there got one shared riksha. We got down at Alka Talkies and walked towards the Lakdi Pul. It was 7:05 PM, when we reached there on the pul. There were thousands of people and other bridges as well as river-side was also full of people. The fire show had already started and as we reached on the bridge, the "ban" and "rockets" started.

There were many colorful fatake in the sky for next 30 minutes. There were many "wow"s, "awsome"s, "aaishappath"s going around after each fataka.

Jupitor watch 30/10/2011

I always like to do star-gazing. This time we went to Kesriwada for watching Jupitor.
There was a long queue. It was arranged by Jyotirvidya Parisanstha.
The queue started from the ground of Kesariwada and went upto the terrace. We stood in the queue for around 1 and half hour and finally reached to the telescope. First a person gave us some brief information about Juptior. There were many smart kids came with their parents and enjoying the show.
We were able to see Jupitor with bands of cyclones on it along with 4 moons (like below). We could not take photos, but I downloaded the below image from internet.

There was no ticket. It was FREE!

The movie was ok. There was no story as such. It just showed how a village boy acts in city life.

The Hole in 3D 18/3/2011

Date: 18/3/2011 Time: 7:15 PM Category: Movie Talkies: Inox Persons: Harshal, Juilee. I was in John Deere training break, when I saw the advertisement in newspaper in the afternoon. I immediately called up Juilee and ask her if she can come with me for "The Hole" - a scary movie. I knew Juilee does not like scary movies. But I insisted her that this movie is not so scary. She asked for some more time to think over this. In the evening she called me back and conveyed her acceptance. Ugich bhav khat hoti. :) She then went to inox and booked the tickets, as the online website was not working. I went there directly (Rikshawala took extra money from both me and Abdul Rawoof) I entered Inox and found Juilee shoping. She bought some wallet and some earrings. Then we fought over some of the things. Then we went upstairs and took the 3D goggles by paying the deposite. The map told us to return the goggles at Exit gate before leaving. I also took some popcorn and pepsi and samosa and we went inside. It was the row at back. The theatre was half-filled. The movie was very good till the interval. The hero finds a hole - and just before the interval - the fact reveals that whatever you scared off - come through that hole. Its a totally new concept. After the interval, the movies goes on the track of some fantasy - harry potter movies. But still its a good story. There are no much 3D effects. Juilee khup ghabarli hoti interval partyant.... dachkat hoti... ani mala chiktun basli hoti... hahahaha. We retunred home and ate mugachi khichadi - already prepared by Juilee.

Juilee bought the tickets on phone. I went to Gandhrva hotel directly from office and Juilee also came there. She was looking fabulous. She had laready ordered baby corn fingers. They were good.
Then we ate alu paratha, onion masala dosa. LAter we also ordered butterscotch icrecream slice. Gandharva cha alooparatha aajun tasach lagto. khup chan asto. tyala teel lavlele astat.
Then we wanderd for sometime outside the Sambhajibag.
Natak thoda ushira suru zala. It started at 10:00 PM. It was funny. Bharat Jadhav is my one of the favorite. Galgale is the most liked character by everybody. Bharat Jadhav act for 4 persons, and changes his cloths and make-up very rapidly. He is a genious.
Natak finished at 12:30 AM and we reached home at 1:15 AM.

We dropped Aai and Baba to Pune Station and came to Ganesh Bhel in Karvenagar. We ate bhel and then went to citypride. Juilee bought the tickets.

The movie does not have a good story base. Ugich kahi pan dakhvaycha mhanun dakhavlay. Kangana does not know how to act. Only Rajendra Kumar and Navni Parihar are doing good in this movie. Rest all is waste.

Movie does not tell you why Kangana is like tapori and why Madhavan is coming from London leaving all his doctor's business, why Jimi shergil meets Madhavan, no logic.

In the afternoon, we were searching for a good movie in newspaper and internet. We were about to decide upon 7 Khoon Maaf, but suddenly we saw trailer of 127 hours on IMDB and decided to go for it. We started from at 5:00, reached Alka at 5:30. Ticket window opens 45 minutes before the show. So we waited for some time and then booked the tickets A1, A2 - I was the first person.


Then we went to the hotel which is in front of alka and had coffee.


The movie was good. The picture quality and photo effects were best. There was no story. A man's hand gets stuck between mountain wall and a big stone.... and the picture shows his efforts to come out for next 2 hours.

After the movie, we ate Alu Paratha and Thalipeeth in Mehendale Garedge hotel.

Then we went to Laxman Mama home because Juilee wanted to draw mendi on Laxman Mami's hand.

Me and Baba first went to Laxman Mama home to fix his printer problem, and then went to Janaseva Bhojanalay. Juilee had already bought the tickets. Aai and Juilee came to Janaseva and we had heavy lunch. Then we went to Citypride and did some timepass.

The movie was good. Those days came in my mind when me, aai and baba used to go to those lakshya, ashok movies. The movie and songs are typical sachin, ashok, lakshya style. The movie is comedy but good to see only for one time. Its not as good as Ek daav dhobipachad.

Baba did not like it much.

Bookmyshow was offering "second ticket at Rs. 1" offer. So I woke up at 9:00 AM on 18th september and logged in it and tried to book the tickets and found that the offer opens at 10:00 am for only first 200 customers. So I again logged in at 10:00 AM and entered my debit card number there. I was lucky that the offere was then open. But by mistake I clicked on Back button and had to miss the offer. The I got only 40% discount.

We went to the movie and got the 3D goggles at the entrance. The animation is really good. Because of small screen size, the actual 3D effectiveness was less but enjoyable. The movie sound to be a typical bollywood movie. The animated characters were looking like actual persons.

In the morning I read in Sakal about the advt. of Rashichakra. Kadhipasun mazya manat hota jaycha mhanun. Mi lahan astana, Aai ani Baba jaun baghun ale hote.... 10 - 12 varshanpurvi. Pan mi thoda ushira ch jaga zalo sakali.... phone booking was available.

I called them up at around 9:30, when most of the seats were booked. Side wali seats hoti 6th row madhye ti 2 book keli.

Mi and Juilee started from home at 8:00, first went to Damle Doctor for Juilee's khokla. Then we went to Balgandharva Pul and sat for a while enjoying the cool breezes coming from above the river.

Then we went to the rangamandir and first had a nice coffee in their cafe and then entered the hall. The hall is still in bad condition, and need renovation badly.

Prayog changla hota, pratyek rashi che jokes sangnyaadhi slide show madhye tya rashit konti mansa yetat te dakhavle ani gana pan vajavle.

Vrushabh = Amisha Patel, Rutik Roshan.

The show ended at 12:30 AM, and we reached home at 1:00 AM.

It was Aai's birthday. ( I took sick leave ) Juile was also on leave.

On previous day, we me and juilee had planned to take leave and cook aloo paratha and pulav for Aai. But there was Munja of Chi. Atharva ( aamcha ghar jyanni vikat ghetla tyancha mulga ), so we had to go there in the morning. So popat zala amcha.

The show did not start at 6:30 PM, but at 6:45.

It was thriller psycho movie. It was good, but Aai did not like it. I liked it. Its about the boy who got tortured by his parents in the childhood and now he starts killing the people who do not appriciate his Guitar Music. The Ranbhool song is very nicely sung by Subodh Bhave. The tune is also good.

Then we ate in the Food Arena at the 0th floor and went home and slept.

Aai la perfume dila vadhdiwsacha gift mhanun.

We went to bigbazar for shopping and Baba was at Vai for Picnic. While parking the car below bigbazar I ask Aai and Juilee if they are ready to watch Vihir. Aai was a bit reluctant but latter she agreed so I first went to Citypride and booked the tickets and then enjoyed the shopping. Then we ate at the FoodArena at Citypride ( Car bogbazar madhyech fuktat lavli hoti. ). Uttappa plater is very good. It has 6 uttappa types ( but very small sizes ) sufficient for 1 person.
The Vihit movie is a good Art Movie but for me it was very boaring. There was no story, no suspense, nothing. Only good shots and nice locations. Khup bore zala baba.
Amitabh la marathi picture kadhaycha hota taar asla bore ka kadhla ugich?

All day, we were cleaning our home and got tired up. The varan bhat cooked in solar cooker gave us a heavy sleepy feeling. But I thought of going to some movie in the eveing. Juilee slept like anything but I was awake as I was having fear that if I go to sleep, then I will wake up at 7 O'Clock.
We woke up at 4:30 PM as we had many other things to do.
I first dropped Juilee at Lata Mavshi's house and then I went to Nilayam. The Balcony booking opened at 6:00 PM and I was the first one so I got A1, A2 seats. Then I went to Salgar to pick up Juilee. Then we went to Prasanna for bandi purchase. There I mate Dushyant with his wife, but he was also in hurry, so we did tata bye bye.
I ran the scooty very fast and we could reach the theatre at 6:28 PM. We entered and in a minute the movie started. A1 A1 seat - magchi rang - kopra - purna andhar - hahahaha.
The movie was interesting and the story was with excellent gameplan. We ate popcorn and samosa in the interval.

Baba bought the tickets 2 days before. On 7th Feb, afternoon, Juilee's Mavshi did gruhapravesh, then we all went to Shreyas Siddhi and had a heavy lunch. Mag ghari yeun thoda padlo ani maag nighalo. Show was housefull. Movie is Ek Numberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I got the tickets from BigBazar. I purchased Rs. 500 tickets. There were no row numbers. But Rs. 500 lines were fairly nere the stage. The first row price was Rs. 1000 ( sofa ).

From the office, I went to the neheru stadium at 6:00 PM, and Swati also came at the same time, and we blocked the two more seats for Juilee and Amol. Juilee came at 7:00 with Chakli and Ladu... wow.

Show started exactly at 7:00 PM. It was a very nice arrangement and set is truely kingsize. Hatti, ghode, unta sagle hote.

Shivrajyabhisheka cha seen tar ekdum mast hota.

The natak was excellent. The characters have no real names. They put their names based on their personality eg. Makad, Pustak, Chaku, Pencil.
Dialogs are too much funny.
